Primo designs, constructs, manufactures, services and repairs tools for the plastics industry, especially for extrusion and injection moulding.
We use CAD/CAM systems and have an extensive capacity in terms of CNC-controlled sparkers and finishing centres, manned by thoroughly-trained teams of highly-qualified designers and toolmakers. With the help of robotics, Primo's tool making facilities can operate 24 hours a day.
Construction A Primo design team uses CAD/CAM systems including AutoCAD and PRO Engineer to draw the production tools in 3D. Or we can accept design materials from our customers in numerous different formats.
Tool development takes place in close collaboration with the customer to optimise the production tools according to the customer's needs. Continuous quality control during test and serial production ensures an efficient manufacturing process with consistent, quality plastic products as the end result.
