Welding – ex-line

The picture shows two PVC profiles welded together to form a corner. The welding operation can be carried out with several different types of welding, depending on the material type, welding requirements, etc.

• Mirror welding
• Contact welding
• Ultrasound welding

Use
Where the following is required:

• A continuous unit for easier fitting
• A tight joint – both sides and corners must also be tight
• Hygiene – to prevent dirt, mud or bacteria from getting into a welded frame
• Attractive joints – the welding tool is fitted with a knife to make the joint virtually invisible
• Flexibility – easy to change to a different frame size

Requirement
Not all types of profile are suitable for welding.
