Door seal welding unit light

For builders of truck trailers, Primo recently launched a ground-breaking DIY welding unit for door sealings. Since the introduction, the welding unit has enjoyed great success, making life easier for trailer builders big and small.

Cut and weld of door sealings on demand

In fact, our DIY unit has been installed all over the world, from Australia and Russia to Dubai and Europe.

“We designed this new unit to allow trailer builders to create quality door sealings at their own facility instead of having to wait for delivery from external suppliers,” says Jesper Helveg Thomsen, Primo’s business area director for transport and traffic.

Based on Primo’s high-quality door sealing profiles, builders can now cut and weld door sealings as the need arises. The unit comes complete with tables, rulers, saws and a welding unit, and this approach has proven to be exactly what builders have been looking for.

“For smaller builders, a smaller, even simpler unit is highly desirable – so that’s what we have designed,” says Jesper Helveg Thomsen.

The new unit is a simplified version designed so that the builder can create a complete workstation around it, using existing tables, work stations etc. in the workshop.

The welding and cutting units are the same as on the larger version but with the added flexibility of individualised setup.
