It would be hard to find someone more experienced in selling extruded profiles than Primo’s Jörg Neis.

Prior to joining Primo in 2018, Jörg Neis had spent more than 20 years in the extrusion industry working with plastics and elastomers. As part of Primo’s sealing team, he mainly deals with profiles for windows, doors and buildings. And in Jörg Neis’ opinion, Primo’s broad range of products is part of what makes the company special:

“First of all, I would like to emphasize our product depth. In addition to soft plastics and TPEs, we also produce all kinds of rigid plastics. But Primo is more than just extrusion; over the years, our factories have developed special products such as sealing frames for truck frames, home appliance magnetic seals and medical hoses,” says Jörg Neis.

Overall, Jörg Neis praises Primo’s holistic approach to production and sales:

“Sales today are under an enormous price pressure. Therefore, it is important to keep a constant dialogue with our customers, to know their problems and concerns and to support them. At Primo, this role is not only being carried out by the sales staff, but it has also been implemented in all other departments,” says Jörg Neis.

In addition, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere permeates the company, and Primo’s management is always just a phone call away. Jörg Neis attributes this to the fact that Primo is still a family business after 60 years.

“Even executives are addressed by their first name,” as he puts it.

This mentality is also transferred to Jörg Neis’ work with Primo’s customers.

“We do not just want to offer our customers and prospects products from a catalogue. My approach is to be the customer’s partner right from the start and to find the best solutions for their specific needs,” says Jörg Neis.
