WindEurope - Let's shape the future of wind energy together

Facing the challenges of wind energy with profile solutions from Primo

From 20 to 22 March 2024 the WindEurope becomes the market place for insiders, suppliers and expert around wind energy and the offshore sector. Primo is your partner in strengthening your wind supply chain through the development of profiles and insulators for optimum protection and stability for the wind and offshore sectors, such as inlet profiles, blade root, cable holders and hub connection covers for wind turbines, and solutions for the offshore industry.

Tighter EU pre-qualifications, the need to amplify wind energy throughout Europe, difficult environmental requirements and stricter regulations and a focus on sustainable practices are adding to the complexity and the challenges of the energy industry. Let's discuss how to overcome them and set new standards at this year's WindEurope.

Meet us at the Danish Pavillon to discuss your project.

Tailored polymer profile solutions for the offshore profiles

Plastic rods

While plastic rods can partially replace steel in subsea cables, a customized blend is often the best choice. Material analysis and real-world experience with vast undersea cable networks (thousands of kilometers) indicate that a 33-50% plastic substitution offers the ideal balance between strength and weight.

Designing the optimal cable composition is a complex process. At Primo, we utilize a range of rigorously tested materials. Each fiber excels in specific applications due to unique properties like tensile strength, modulus, elongation, and conductivity.
