Saving energy and lowering costs with plastics

Primo shows how at Elmia Subcontractor 2013. Primo will be exhibiting at this year’s Elmia Subcontractor Fair in Jönköping, Sweden. At the fair, we will be demonstrating some of the excellent properties of our chosen material – plastics.

Among the many qualities of plastics is its ability to be extruded or co-extruded into any shape that can be imagined. The uses of extruded profiles are countless – they are found in construction, in windows and doors, in transport material and so on.

Plastic profiles are ideally suited to replace materials such as wood and metal, because plastic profiles are far superior when it comes to insulation values, flexibility, recyclability and economy in production. For instance, plastic profiles used for window construction will lower energy costs significantly for the house owners and will practically eliminate the need for maintenance.

Producers of just about everything from cars to offshore cables are beginning to turn to extruded plastic profiles, because the advantages are so obvious: Better product properties, more durable products and a considerably improved economy. Primo has the solution, no matter what the demand may be

Elmia Subcontractor

The Elmia Subcontractor 2013 fair is held at the Elmia Convention Center in Jönköping, Sweden, from the 12th of November to the 15th.

Elmia Subcontractor is Northern Europe’s leading trade show for subcontractors in the manufacturing industry and their customers - a genuine specialist fair for product development and purchasing. 

Last year, Elmia attracted more than 14,000 visitors and 1,200 exhibitors from 30 countries. At the fair, you can visit subcontractors and product development specialists in a dazzling variety of businesses – from toolmakers to experts in design and development of all kinds of manufactured products. All are part of the Swedish subcontracting industry, which is the backbone of much of the Swedish industrial economy.
