Saving energy and lowering costs with plastics

Primo shows how at Elmia Subcontractor 2013. Primo will be exhibiting at this year’s Elmia Subcontractor Fair in Jönköping, Sweden. At the fair, we will be demonstrating some of the excellent properties of our chosen material – plastics.

Among the many qualities of plastics is its ability to be extruded or co-extruded into any shape that can be imagined. The uses of extruded profiles are countless – they are found in construction, in windows and doors, in transport material and so on.

Plastic profiles are ideally suited to replace materials such as wood and metal, because plastic profiles are far superior when it comes to insulation values, flexibility, recyclability and economy in production. For instance, plastic profiles used for window construction will lower energy costs significantly for the house owners and will practically eliminate the need for maintenance.

Producers of just about everything from cars to offshore cables are beginning to turn to extruded plastic profiles, because the advantages are so obvious: Better product properties, more durable products and a considerably improved economy. Primo has the solution, no matter what the demand may be
